Authorities announce the arrest of Angel L. Tirado, 21, of Belleville, for a shooting that occurred on September 7th.
According to police, at approximately 6:25 p.m., officers responded to the 200-block of Verona Avenue on reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police learned that the shooting may have ensued following a quarrel just before the incident.
There were no reports of injuries.
However, detectives developed sufficient evidence to identify Angel L. Tirado as a suspect in this shooting and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault.
Police arrested Tirado today charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.
These charges are merely accusations.
The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
