The Essex County Prosecutor's Office officially charged a Belleville man with possessing sexually suggestive images of minors.
According to authorities, a search of the home of Mr. Anthony Domenick, 25, had police file charges of possessing explicit images and allegedly having "child erotica."
According to a spokesperson for the prosecutor's office, the "child erotica" law that went into effect Feb. 1 criminalizes images where children are clothed but suggestively-posed or inappropriately sexualized.
Police are continuing to investigate.
