Authorities have identified an East Orange man killed this afternoon on Berwyne Street, authorities said.
Police responded to 42-44 Berwyne Street around 1:15 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police found Jamar Hurd, 32, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Hurd was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Prosecutor's office's Major Crimes and Homicide Task Force are handling the investigation.
