$10K Mega Millions Tickets Sold in Bergen, Ocean Counties

James Carey, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, announced that there were two third-tier prizewinning tickets sold for the Tuesday, Dec. 4th drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize.

Those tickets were purchased at the following locations:

Bergen County: Leonia News & Stationery, 338 Broad Ave., Leonia; and

Ocean County: Stop & Shop #2810, 505 Richmond Ave., Point Pleasant.

If those tickets had been purchased with the Megaplier option, the prizes would be multiplied to $30,000. The winning numbers for the Tuesday, Dec. 4th drawing were: 28, 31, 41, 42 and 50. The Gold Mega Ball was 04, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.

In addition, 18 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $1,500.

Moreover, 34,777 other New Jersey players took home $138,798 in prizes ranging from $2 to $600, according to Carey.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said Carey. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
