There is a crime scene established just outside the Sonic Restaurant on Court Street after police responded to a shooting with reports of a person drown a short time ago.
EMS transported the male victim to University Hospital suffering critical injuries after being shot several times to the back at that location.
Police are searching the area for evidence and a possible suspect at this time.
Earlier in the afternoon, a male vicim that entered the hospital suffering injury from gunfire reportedly told authorities he was struck some time overnight in the 70's block of Smith Street.
Police searched the area and located evidence of a shooting at that location.
Both shooting are under investigation.
