NJ, avoid the 100 block of Peshine Avenue as police are on the scene of a shooting with a woman down at this time.
Multiple rounds of gunfire exploded from a drive-by vehicle at around 6:35 p.m. sending police to the scene where they found a woman suffering a gunshot wound to her back.
The woman (in her late 30's) was rushed to University Hospital where she is said to be in stable condition.
Authorities found multiple shell casings at the scene.
A green colored Jeep Cherokee reportedly occupied by several suspects fled the scene after one of the suspects opened the rear passenger side window and began to fire shots in the neighborhood.
The woman was possibly an innocent bystander.
