A crime scene is established in the 900 block of Frelinghuysen Avenue as police are on the scene investigating a shooting that has two people injured at this time.
Gunfire erupted in the area at around 9 a.m. sending a large police presence to the scene where they located a male and a female injured from apparent gunfire at that location.
The male victim was reportedly shot to the arm while the female victim suffered a back injury due to gunfire according to reports from the scene.
Both victims are en route to University Hospital at this time where their injuries have not been reported as life threatening.
Police are looking for a medium built black male last seen wearing a black hoodie and khaki colored pants.
There are no arrests reported at this time.
