Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead that in the 300 block of North 6th Street at around 3:15 p.m.
Officers responded to the area after several reports of a crash that caused a vehicle to overturn and trapped one person at around 3:15 p.m.
Arriving units located the vehicle with the injured person inside at that location.
There were several reports of shots fired shortly before the crash that struck the male victim in the chest .
The victim was pronounced dead shortly before 4:44 p.m.
