A shooting in Newark has police on the scene with a male victim shot.
Gunfire erupted in the area of Fairmont Ave. and 13th Ave. at around 5:30 p.m. sending police to the scene where they located a male victim suffering injury from gunfire.
The victim has been rushed the short distance to University Hospital sufferinf critical injuries.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation is underway.
