There were non-life threatening injuries reported in a shooting that happened near a night club located in the city's North Ward.
Police responded to reports of shot fired in the 300 block of Park Ave. at around 3 a.m. where they arrived to find a victim suffering a gunshot wound to the arm in the rear of the establishment according to reports.
The victim was transported to University Hospital a short time later.
There were no other victims struck by gunfire as the Newark Police Department handles the investigation.
