EMS are transporting a male victim to University Hospital suffering injury from gunfire in the city's West Ward.
The shooting happened at around 6:45 p.m. in the 200 block of Mt. Vernon Place.
The status of the victim is unknown at this time.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation is underway.
