Police have a crime scene established in the area of 8th Street and 12th Ave. at this time where an investigation is underway into a shooting that happened a short time ago.
Gunfire rang out in the area at around 9 a.m. sending cops to the scene where they located a house struck by gunfire and several shell casings at the scene.
A silver colored Pontiac Grand Prix occupied by several black males was observed leaving the area southbound on 8th Street.
There were no injuries reported.
