Authorities in Newark are looking for a light colored BMW (possibly a 7-Series) with Vermont license plates and tinted windows wanted in regards to a shooting that injured one person overnight in the city.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 200 block of Mount Prospect Ave. shortly before 3:30 a.m where they arrived to find a male victim shot at that location.
EMS transported the victim to University hospital reportedly suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the buttocks.
There were no reports of arrest made.
The investigation is being handled by the Newark Police Department.
