An overnight shooting in Newark's South Ward has authorities investigating.
Police responded to the reported shooting that happened at around 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Clinton Place where they arrived to find a male victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital where the victim was treated and released.
Police setup a crime scene in the area where they collected several shell casings an other evidence.
The suspect remains at-large.
