A male victim around the age 20-years-old was transported to St. Josephs Hospital after a shooting in Paterson.
The victim was found in the area of East 16th Street and 12th Ave. shortly before 1:30 a.m. suffering gunshot wounds to the abdomen and arm.
Police taped off a large area where they conducted a search for evidence and a possible suspect. Authorities found several shell casings at the scene.
The shooting is under investigation by Paterson Police.
