A shooting that happened in the city early this morning has police investigating.
EMS transported a male victim suffering a gunshot wound to the buttocks/hip area to St. Josephs Hospital shortly before 3:30 a.m. after police located the victim in the 500 block of East 23rd Street.
The man was expected to survive his injury.
There were no reports of an arrest made.
