According to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., detectives are seeking Tahisha Ingram, 49, of Newark, regarding gunfire reported on Tuesday, October 13.

Police said officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 11:26 p.m. in the 500 block of Springfield Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers recovered one spent shell casing and located an individual who reported being shot at but was not struck or injured.

Investigators are seeking Ingram for questioning as they continue looking into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Director Miranda urges anyone with information about Ingram’s whereabouts to contact Newark Police’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS.
