An Ocean County man who served in the United States Air Force will spend more than a decade in federal prison after admitting to receiving hundreds of sexually explicit images involving minors while stationed at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey.

According to information released by the U.S. Department of Justice, Christian Keilberg, 35, was sentenced to 121 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Georgette Castner in Trenton.

Keilberg previously pleaded guilty on February 10, 2026, to a federal charge involving the receipt of explicit images of minors.

Federal prosecutors said the criminal activity occurred between November 2020 and November 2022, when Keilberg was an active-duty enlisted Airman living and working at the military installation.

During that period, investigators determined that Keilberg used social media platforms and online messaging applications to establish contact with minors in New Jersey and other states.

Authorities said the communications included sexually explicit conversations in which Keilberg requested photographs and videos depicting the minors engaged in explicit conduct.

Investigators later searched electronic devices recovered from Keilberg's military housing and discovered additional explicit material involving minors.

Federal authorities determined that Keilberg had received more than 600 explicit images, including material depicting minors between the ages of 12 and 15.

In addition to his prison sentence of just over 10 years, Keilberg must serve another 10 years under federal supervision following his release.

The investigation was conducted by special agents assigned to the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations, under the leadership of Special Agent in Charge Linzi Joseph.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office also assisted federal investigators in the case.
