Newark Public Safety officials are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 59-year-old woman who has been missing for one week.
According to information released by Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., Mopelola Omonubi was reported missing on September 9, 2026.
Omonubi was last seen wearing a pink-and-white striped shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
She is described as a Black woman, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
Authorities said Omonubi is known to travel by NJ Transit bus to Rutherford for work.
