Acting Prosecutor Carolyn Murray and Newark Police Director Samuel DeMaio are reporting that this afternoon at 1:20 p.m. Tywan Weaver ,25 of Newark was shot at 47 Hanford Street. He was transported in a private vehicle to University Hospital where he succumb to his injuries at 1:35 p.m.
The investigation is being conducted by the Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force including the Newark Police Department.
There is no motive or arrest at this time.
