EMS transported a male victim found shot multiple times to University Hospital a short time ago.
Reports of shots fired that rang out in the 400 block of South 16th Street shortly before 5:15 p.m. sent several police unit to the scene where they found the male victim suffering serious injuries after being struck in the leg and shoulder.
A crime scene was established in the are where police searched for evidence and a possible suspect.
