Police are investigating a shooting that damaged multiple vehicles, including a NJ Transit bus, Wednesday night in Elizabeth.

According to preliminary information released by authorities, officers responded to reports of shots fired near Third Street and Magnolia Avenue at approximately 9:45 p.m. on June 10.
The initial investigation found that two individuals fired multiple rounds in the area before fleeing the scene on foot.
During the incident, gunfire struck two unoccupied parked vehicles and a NJ Transit bus traveling through the area.
A female passenger aboard the bus sustained minor injuries. She declined medical treatment at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Investigators continue to work to determine a motive and identify those responsible. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is encouraged to contact Jersey City police.
The incident remains under active investigation.
