The event, which serves as an early celebration of summer and Father’s Day, will feature a wide variety of food trucks offering everything from empanadas and sliders to ice cream and other specialty items.

Organizers say attendees can expect unique culinary creations not typically found at local restaurants.

In addition to the food, the festival will include live entertainment provided by DJ Ray Colon, games, pony rides, a petting zoo and activities for children and adults throughout the day.

Guests 21 and older can also enjoy a beer garden, along with a wine and margarita garden.

Belleville Mayor Michael Melham said the new event is intended to bring residents together while complementing, not replacing, the township’s annual Food Truck Festival held each October.
