Authorities in Bergen County announced the arrests of five men accused of operating a large-scale narcotics distribution network that investigators say stretched across several Bergen County communities and involved millions of dollars in illegal drugs.

According to a statement released by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the months-long investigation led to the arrests of 27-year-old Thomas A. Crisafulli of Bergenfield, 22-year-old Jayshawn Eyamazememba of the Bronx, 25-year-old Ethan Lara of Lodi, 25-year-old Michael Morales of Bergenfield, and 21-year-old Naudy Oviedo of the Bronx.

The investigation, launched in September 2025 by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force, the United States Postal Inspection Service, and the Maywood Police Department, focused on alleged drug activity tied to locations in Bergenfield, Englewood, and Lodi.

On May 7, detectives executed court-authorized search warrants at several locations throughout Bergen County with assistance from the Bergenfield Police Department, Englewood Police Department, and Lodi Police Department.

Investigators said they seized a significant quantity of narcotics, including illegally pressed pills, MDMA, ketamine, marijuana, and Tapentadol.

Authorities reported recovering approximately three kilograms of MDMA, nine kilograms of ketamine, and 291 kilograms of fraudulent pressed pills with an estimated street value exceeding $4 million.

Officials charged all five suspects with multiple narcotics offenses, including first-degree operating a controlled dangerous substance facility and possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances.

The defendants were remanded to the Bergen County Jail, appeared in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, and were later released pending further court proceedings.
