Authorities in Linden are investigating a late-night pedestrian crash that left one person seriously injured Tuesday night.
Emergency responders were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. to the intersection of West St. George’s Avenue and North Stiles Street after receiving reports of a person struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, police found an unidentified individual unconscious at the scene.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
As of 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, officials have not released details regarding the extent of the victim’s injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under active investigation. No additional information has been made available at this time.
