Police are on the scene of a shooting that happened in the city's East Ward a short time ago.
A crime scene with several blocks around Pennington Street has been established after gunfire rang out in the area shortly before 6:15 p.m.
EMS transported a male victim to University Hospital reportedly suffering a gunshot wound to the neck.
The victim's condition is unknown at this time.
