An Essex County lottery player is starting the week on a high note after matching all five numbers in Saturday’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing to claim a $764,968 jackpot — the seventh top prize awarded in 2026.
The winning numbers drawn were 14, 17, 20, 32, and 44. The Bullseyenumber was 20, and the XTRA was 03.
The lucky ticket was sold at Shoppers Express, located at 300 Washington Avenue in Belleville.
The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
In addition to the jackpot winner, 35 players matched four out of five numbers and the Bullseye to win $500 each.
Of those winners, seven opted to play the XTRA feature, boosting their prizes to $1,500.
Following the payout, the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has been reset to $150,000 for the next drawing.
Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the back of their tickets and contact the New Jersey Lottery for further instructions on claiming prizes.
