Trenton Police shut down a section of North Clinton Avenue in the 200 block early Saturday morning after gunfire left a man injured in what authorities described as the second shooting of the night.

Around 2 a.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired near 225 North Clinton Avenue.
When units arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.
The injured man was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Police secured and taped off the area as detectives searched for evidence related to the shooting. No additional injuries were reported.

The investigation remains active.
