Police in Trenton are investigating an early morning shooting that left a man injured.
At approximately 5 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Southard Street and Perry Street following reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, police located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released information regarding his condition at this time.
The motive behind the shooting remains under active investigation.
