Two pedestrians were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Hackensack late Wednesday night, authorities said.
Police were dispatched to the 30s block of Prospect Street at approximately 10:45 p.m. following reports of a crash involving pedestrians.
When officers arrived, they found two individuals who had been hit by a vehicle.
Emergency medical services were requested to the scene, and both victims were evaluated by responders.
Officials determined that the injuries sustained were minor and not considered life-threatening.
The circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately disclosed, and no additional details about the driver or the pedestrians were released.
The Hackensack Police Department is actively investigating the incident.
