Authorities in Passaic County are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Friday night in Passaic.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman, officers responded to the area of Sherman Street and Hope Avenue around 9:14 p.m. on October 31, after receiving reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene; however, no one was struck by the gunfire.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
