Newark Police are asking for the public’s help to locate Melissa Wise, 55, of Irvington, who is wanted for questioning in connection with gunfire reported Monday night, October 6. 
Officers responded around 9:59 p.m. to the 400 block of Leslie Street after a ShotSpotter alert.
Police found four vehicles struck by bullets and additional property damage to a building in the 300 block of Chancellor Avenue.
Investigators also documented two separate collisions at Leslie Street and Chancellor Avenue in which drivers hit parked cars. No injuries were reported.
Detectives are seeking to speak with Wise as part of the ongoing investigation. She has not been charged at this time.
