Authorities in Ocean County announced that on October 6, Brandon Torsiello, 25, of Hazlet Township, pled guilty to Possession of More than one-half ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Cocaine with Intent to distribute before the Honorable Guy P. Ryan, P.J.Cr.P., in connection with an incident that occurred on March 6, 2025, in Brick Township.

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer stated that at the time of his sentencing on December 5, the State will be seeking a term of five years in New Jersey State Prison.
According to Ocean County officials, on December 5, 2024, Officers assigned to the Brick Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit observed Torsiello participate in an activity consistent with a controlled dangerous substance transaction.
As Torsiello exited the parking lot in his motor vehicle, Detectives effectuated a motor vehicle stop on Torsiello’s vehicle, OCPO officials say.
The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit responded to the scene and did an open-air sniff of the vehicle, OCPO authorities said. The K-9 provided a positive alert for narcotics.
Torsiello was taken into custody and transported to Brick Township Police Headquarters, Ocean County officials said.
Ocean County authorities say a subsequent search of Torsiello’s person at police headquarters yielded quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, Xanax, and suboxone.
Torsiello was charged accordingly and transported to the Ocean County Jail, where he has been detained since that date, OCPO officials said.
According to Ocean County officials, on December 7, 2024, Detectives executed a court-authorized search warrant on Torsiello’s vehicle, which yielded additional quantities of cocaine and assorted controlled dangerous substances.
