Authorities are searching for a suspect after a woman was shot in the face Monday evening in Trenton, officials said.
According to police, the incident occurred just before 7:50 p.m. in the area of 179 Brunswick Avenue. Responding officers found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her face.
The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where she was listed in serious condition.
Investigators are working to determine the motive behind the shooting.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
No additional information was immediately available, and the investigation is ongoing.
