Authorities are investigating a shooting incident after a man walked into Christ Hospital with gunshot wounds late Sunday night.
According to preliminary reports, hospital officials contacted law enforcement after the unidentified victim was dropped off by a private vehicle.
The man’s injuries were reported as serious, though not immediately classified as life-threatening.
Police have yet to confirm the exact location of the shooting, but responded to a possible scene near Diefield Avenue as part of their ongoing investigation.
As of early Monday, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in identifying the suspect and confirming where the shooting occurred.
