Authorities in Hudson County are investigating a Friday night shooting incident that left a vehicle damaged in a Jersey City neighborhood.

According to preliminary reports, officers were dispatched to the area of 163 Sterling Avenue around 10:30 p.m. after receiving multiple reports of gunfire.
When police arrived, they secured the scene and discovered an unoccupied vehicle that several bullets had struck.
The vehicle's window had been shot out, but after a thorough search of the neighborhood, no injuries were reported.
At this time, no suspects have been apprehended, and the motive for the shooting remains under investigation. Authorities continue to canvass the area for leads and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The incident remains under active and ongoing investigation by Jersey City Police and Hudson County law enforcement officials.
