A year-long investigation into an armed robbery in Edgewater has led to the arrests of three men, with a fourth suspect still on the run, according to information sent by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
The case stems from a June 2024 incident where two masked men allegedly held up five victims, including two juveniles, in a commercial parking lot on River Road.
The suspects reportedly threatened the victims at gunpoint, demanded their car keys, and attempted to smash a vehicle window before fleeing in a getaway car.
Following months of joint investigative work by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and Edgewater Police, detectives arrested 24-year-old Julio Perez of North Bergen, 21-year-old Justin Acosta of West Virginia, and 23-year-old Kenny Vega of West New York on charges related to armed robbery, weapons offenses, and making threats.
A fourth suspect, 21-year-old Jaden Vazquez of Guttenberg, has been charged but remains at large.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Tips Line at (201) 226-5532.
All three arrested suspects remain in custody pending court proceedings.
