Asbury Park Police Investigate Sunday Night Shooting That Injured One

Authorities in Asbury Park are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Sunday night.

Police responded to reports of gunfire near 1266 Washington Avenue. 

Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified individual suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.

No arrests have been reported, and the motive for the shooting has not yet been determined. 

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
