Authorities in Bloomfield are investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred overnight near a residential complex in the township.
According to preliminary reports, the incident unfolded around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Brookdale Gardens and Broad Street.
Officers responded swiftly to reports of gunfire in the area and arrived to find shell casings on the ground near the complex.
Police secured the scene and conducted a thorough search for any victims, but no injuries were reported.
