Trenton Police Investigating Sunday Evening Shooting That Injured One

Trenton Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured Sunday evening in the city’s West Ward.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred around 5:50 p.m. when a ShotSpotter device alerted authorities to possible gunfire in the area of Eisenhower Avenue and Hoffman Avenue.

When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the groin. 

He was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Police searched the area for evidence and attempted to identify the exact crime scene, but no arrests have been reported as of Monday morning. 

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
