Authorities in Bergen County are investigating an early morning burglary at a local restaurant in River Edge.
According to preliminary reports, the break-in occurred around 2 a.m. Tuesday at Prime 259 Steakhouse, located at 259 Johnson Avenue.
Police responded to reports of a burglary in progress and arrived to find signs of forced entry through a side door of the establishment.

Two suspects, described as wearing dark clothing, were seen fleeing the scene before officers arrived. As of now, they remain at large.
It is currently unclear whether any property or cash was taken from the restaurant.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, and authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and other evidence in hopes of identifying the suspects.
