By: Jeff Sommes Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a serious incident in Camden Sunday night after a man fell several feet into an empty pool, leaving him with a severe head injury. According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred in the 500 block of Madison Avenue East. Police, firefighters, and EMS units responded to the location after receiving reports of an injured person around 55 years old. When crews arrived, they found the man at the bottom of an approximately 8-foot-deep pool with no water inside. Firefighters used a stokes basket to lift the victim out of the pool safely. He was then transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident remains under investigation. No additional information has been released at this time.
