A Wildwood Crest man has been formally charged in connection with the shooting death of a woman found in a Millville park last fall, according to information released by the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities allege that 30-year-old Kirk E. Williams fatally shot 36-year-old Teaoshia Still (pictured) during a meeting at City Park in Millville on the evening of November 9, 2024.

Still was discovered at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead.
A joint investigation by the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office and the Millville Police Department led to the charges against Williams.
Investigators believe Still had gone to the park to return some of Williams’ personal belongings when the fatal encounter occurred.
Officials further allege that after the shooting, Williams was found to be in possession of some of Still’s items.
On May 2, 2025, a criminal complaint was authorized against Williams, charging him with Purposeful and Knowing Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, Possession of a Firearm for an Unlawful Purpose, Certain Persons Not to possess a Weapon, and tampering with Evidence.
Prosecutors filed a motion on May 7 seeking to detain Williams until trial. His detention hearing is scheduled for Monday, May 12, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Demetrica Todd.

Anyone with additional information about the case is urged to contact the Millville Police Department at 856-825-7010.
