Pedestrian Struck, Injured Overnight in Livingston

Police in Livingston are investigating an early morning pedestrian crash that left one person injured overnight.

According to officials, the incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. in the 30s block of Shrewsbury Drive (County Route 635). 

Officers responded to reports of a person down in the roadway and arrived to find an unidentified individual suffering from a leg injury after being struck by a vehicle.

The victim, who was reported to be drifting in and out of consciousness, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. 

As of now, no additional details have been released.
