Authorities in Newark are investigating an overnight shooting that left one person injured in the city.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that occurred in the the area of 12th Ave. and South 19th Street shortly after midnight.
Upon arrival to the scene, authorities found a victim suffering a non-life threatening graze wound to the have.
The victim was transported to University Hospital where he is expected to be ok.
Police located multiple shell casings on the scene.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
