Newark Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Tuesday morning.
Gunfire erupted in the area of Orange Street and First Street shortly after 6 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a shell casing, but after cops searched the area, no injuries were reported.
A crime scene unit was called to the area to investigate.
No arrests were reported.
