Police are investigating a shooting that happened overnight in Paterson.
Reports of shots fired in the area of Marion Street and Woodruff Place sent police to the scene shortly 1:30 a.m. where they found a parked car struck twice by gunfire.
Police setup a crime scene where they searched the vehicle and the area for victims but none was found.
Several shell casings were recovered at the scene.
