Police in Elizabeth are investigating a shooting that took place overnight in the city.
Gunfire rang out at a club located in the 400 block of Spring Street shortly before 3 a.m sending police to the scene where one person was found shot at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital in Newark in stable condition.
The suspect reportedly walked up to the club armed with a weapon and begin to fire rounds striking the victim.
