Police are looking for a two-door (small) late modeled compact vehicle that reportedly dropped a man off at Beth Israel Hospital suffering multiple gunshot wounds then left the scene.
Police responded to the area of Avon Ave. and Chadwick Ave. shortly before 8:25 p.m. for reports of shots fired. Officers searched the area where they found evidence of gunfire but no victim.
At around 8:45 p.m. a male victim shot to the arm, shoulder, and abdomen checked into the hospital and told authorities that he believe that he was shot on Wainwright Street.
The condition of the victim is reported to be serious.
Police are searching the area for evidence and other possible victims at this time.
