A pedestrian was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital with severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night in Paterson.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the crash happened at around 8:20 p.m. near 88 Clinton Street.
Emergency responders arrived and found the unidentified, unconscious and unresponsive victim suffering severe injuries after the car struck them at that location.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office was notified about the incident.
There were no other injuries reported.
